Also known as Floral Kenzans, Floral Frogs are stainless steel pin cushions most notably used in traditional Japanese Ikebana floral arranging. The stems of the flower are cut to your desired height, then impaled onto a prick of the pin. Because the water shoots up the stem of the flower, frogs help extend the life of your flower. We have no idea why they were given the name Frog.
• Water check when it lands—our arrangements come hydrated with flower food, but give it a once-over. Top off with cool water if needed.
• Change the water every couple of days and use that flower food packet. It's basically a vitamin boost for your blooms. Remove any leaves sitting below the waterline, and remove anything wilted.
• Fresh cuts matter—snip about half an inch off the stems at a 45-degree angle every few days. It helps them drink up better and stay perky longer.
• Location is everything—keep them away from direct sun, ripening fruit, heating vents, and cold drafts. A cool spot indoors is your sweet spot.
• Tell them they're gorgeous. They genuinely appreciate the hype.
To deliver fresh and unique blooms in each and every delivery. In order to meet our quality standards (and because we are at the mercy of Mother Nature), this may mean we need to substitute a flower and/or color in your order. While we can not guarantee the exact color or what the exact flower combinations will be, we do guarantee that you or your recipient will love this fresh, colorful, and beautiful piece!
VASE ARRANGEMENTS: Our florist hand-places each flower to create a finished, ready-to-display arrangement.
WRAPPED BOUQUET: In a wrap, the flowers are gathered and bundled together rather than individually arranged, which suits anyone who likes to style them at home.
